CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK - UTAH

Canyonlands National Park is an American national park located in southeastern Utah near the town of Moab. The park preserves a colorful landscape eroded into numerous canyons, mesas, and buttes by the Colorado River, the Green River, and their respective tributaries. Legislation creating the park was signed into law by President Lyndon Johnson on September 12, 1964.

The park is divided into four districts: the Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze, and the combined rivers—the Green and Colorado—which carved two large canyons into the Colorado Plateau. While these areas share a primitive desert atmosphere, each retains its own character. Author Edward Abbey, a frequent visitor, described the Canyonlands as "the most weird, wonderful, magical place on earth—there is nothing else like it anywhere. (Wiki)

These are some photos i took during our trip to UTAH specifically Canyonlands. We actually did not do major hikes, the only hike we did was the Mesa Arch. Most of the photos were not far from the road. There are a lot of hikes to do here, maybe next visit we will do it :)

Just recently, we went to this place, just exploring the beauty of Idaho. I mean we want to get away from the snowy cold but ended up with a super windy cold lol. Anyways we are from Mountain Home and drove here, it was our first time. While on the road we seems hesitant because the GPS brought us in the middle of nowhere and we did not see anything lol. But theres a lil pullover and there you go there was this signs and everything. We did not know that we needed to hike, my bad hahaha.

Shoshone Ice Caves - Idaho

These are the photos I took during our visit to this cave. It was so hot outside but as soon as we entered the cave you can feel the cold breeze. Then it was so cold inside the cave as you can see the water turned into ice. The entrance fee was $10.00 and its like 45 mins or less the entire tour.

RED CHAIR LAVENDER

These photos were taken last Saturday (July 11, 2020). Our original plan was to attend the Red Chair Lavender Festival, but due to pandemic it was cancelled. Still there's another lavender thing in Payette its called PINUP Takeover at U-Pick Lavender Festival, so we decided to go. We were so excited but we are so disappointed when we get there. It was like just a backyard, my seven years old niece said "this is just like a backyard sale :(" she was not happy.

We decided to go to RED CHAIR LAVENDER. We were glad we went, it was so beautiful my niece enjoyed it so much. There's not a lot pf people during our visit, its like the whole fields are for us, there are still people but not crowded.

Some of the people that was in there were harvesting the lavender. I guess its time for the lavenders to get harvested but still the fields was huge and flowers were everywhere. We love it in there :)
